Dr. Adam Anderson, a Mellong Postdoctoral Fellow in Digital Humanities from UC Berkeley's D-Lab, joined us on April 7, 2020, through zoom. His workshop covered different ways to digitize analog objects, from books to artifacts. He covered open source tools as well as different types of image processing including: rasterization, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), photogrammetry, and 3D modeling.
